Who We Are
Yokum Designs was launched in November 2001 by Dan Yokum. Dan's artistic background and experiences are many and varied, including running a stained and fused glass business for 15 years, teaching art in public schools, prisons, and Adult Ed. classes, and working the crafts fair circuit in the Northeast. Dan has a BA degree in Studio Art and is a NYS certified art teacher. In 1993, Dan and his family moved to Ithaca, New York and Dan became the in-house graphic designer for a clothing design and manufacturing company. When the company reorganized in 2001, Dan knew it was time to branch out on his own.
Yokum Designs was created with the vision that "small is better". We are able to offer quick and personal service to each of our clients, working closely with them to give them the results they want. Rather than spending our time managing the bureaucracy of a sprawling company, we put our efforts into delivering top quality work, quick turn around, all with a one on one approach.
